manessOct2017Dr. Holland Maness is honored to be an orthodontist. She enjoys having an office full of happy patients surrounded by her enthusiastic staff. She takes pride in creating beautiful, healthy smiles in a personalized and caring environment.

Dr. Maness graduated with honors from the College of Charleston with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Following a 12-year career in hospital administration at MUSC, Emory and University Hospital in Augusta, she decided to become a dentist and to be on the frontline of patient care. She graduated second in her dental school class at the Medical College of Georgia and completed a 30-month orthodontic residency there as well.

Dr. Maness is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. Prior to returning to her home state of South Carolina, she served as an Associate Professor and Graduate Program Director of the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry Orthodontic Residency Program.  Dr. Maness strives for excellence in every aspect of her life, and she is committed to bringing you the very best in orthodontics.

Dr. Maness has two adult children. Will is a graduate of the University of Memphis TigerLife Program, and Merritt is in her third year at the United States Naval Academy. She is a member of St. Frederick and St. Stephens Catholic Church and enjoys running, college football (especially attending Navy football games) and volunteering with the Edisto Beach Turtle Project.
